How it works

Three steps. No engineer required. Anyone who can install Microsoft Office can deploy it.

01

Download

Windows 10/11 installer (~50 MB). Plug in a DigitalPersona U.are.U 4500 reader (USD 90).

03

Data protection

Habeas Data compliant by design.

A fingerprint is sensitive personal data under Colombian Law 1581 of 2012. TRUJO Biometric is built around that from day one.

  • Stores a mathematical template, never the image of the fingerprint.
  • The data subject can consult, update and delete their data.
  • Audit logs of every access for inspections.
  • Data exportable and removable — no lock-in.

Each organization remains the data controller; TRUJO acts as data processor. We help you set up consent and your privacy notice.

FAQ

What hardware do I need?

A Windows 10/11 PC (any modest desktop or laptop) and a DigitalPersona U.are.U 4500 USB fingerprint reader (around USD 90). That is it.

What happens if my internet goes down?

TRUJO Biometric works fully offline for 48 hours. Logs and enrollments are stored locally and sync automatically when connectivity returns.

Can I export the data?

Yes. Excel, CSV and JSON API. Your data is yours — there is no vendor lock-in.

Does it comply with Colombian data law?

Yes. It is designed around Law 1581 of 2012 (Habeas Data). It stores a mathematical template, never the image of your fingerprint, and the data subject keeps the right to consult, update and delete their data.

Does it work for cafeterias and institutional casinos?

Yes — that is exactly where it runs today. The fingerprint validates who is entitled to the meal service and in which shift, replacing paper lists.

How many people can I enroll?

From 100 on the Solo plan up to unlimited on the Institutional plan.

How do I pay?

Local methods via Bold / Wompi for Colombian clients, or Stripe for international cards. Invoiced under TRUJO TECHNOLOGIES S.A.S. (NIT 902.025.831-4).

Are there real references?

Yes. Active institutional clients in Colombia, in production. Specific names are confidential — references available under NDA on request.

Is there a lock-in contract?

No. Monthly subscription, cancel anytime. The hardware (a single USB reader) is a one-time purchase you keep.
